Volter and Hilja – a literary concert

Violinist Laura Kokko, mezzo soprano Essi Luttinen and pianist Petri Haapasalo take their audience to a strong world full of love through the correspondence of nationally renowned novelist Volter Kilpi and his forthcoming wife Hilja Vanhakartano during an intensive period of engagement in 1905-1907. In the concert, the letters which Laura Kokko has edited for a book, are illustrated by the trio with their fresh versions of famous musical classics.
